South Asian Design and a red bridal dress from Vera Wang. This photo was from the 2013 bridal collection.
I love the use of red for bridal in Western dresses for those who want this color and need it for requirements of cultural tradition.
Western dresses have been white, ivory white, blush pink, and now red, while modern brides have selected the option for modern silhouettes in bridal white, black, and black & white gowns. I must say, I still like floor and ankle length dresses for bridal attire.
As a huge fan of South Asian Desi bridal design, I love love love love beading, sequins, rhinestones, and all things sparkly. Golden or silver embroidery or both hold my gaze to catch my attention. Glitter sparkles too. Many other techniques for fabrics in dress design are factory stitching, hand machine stitching, and hand beading that have been done for centuries before the 1900's that brought with it innovation with industrialization to create dresses faster than ever before. A bride did not have to wait several months for her dress design to be completely finished and dispatched for shipping to her home while she could also choose to pick up her dress.
The end of the 1990's saw the turn of a century with the arrival of the 21st century of the second millennium. Those last ten years, I used the early 1990's to learn about business, the mid-1990's to prepare for business experience by handling several international marketing projects for dress design in South Asia, beading design and trade with Europe and South Asia, and the managing of projects to support the economies in South Asia with most of the work done with business owners in Delhi, India previously referred to as Hindustan as late as 1948. It was 1994-1996 and it was a time I will never forget when Style history was made in Fashion Design and an entire economy prospered for the revenue earned for Bridal Dress design with South Asian clothing, fashion jewelry, accessories, shoes, and bridal purses.
The remainder of the 1990's, I did more marketing and advertising projects with hair and bridal makeup with brands for hair products, hair appliances, and cosmetic products. The experience made me famous with celebrities, brand marketing, and designer labels.
Later, I added to my business experience projects for entrepreneurs that owned their own businesses, non-profit business experiences, and influence on economies with trade understanding Economic Policies in North America, Europe, Latin America, the South Asian region, and Australia and New Zealand. Later, I learned about trade and businesses in African nations.
Note:
I worked on marketing and advertising projects while I continued work for scientific inventions and modifications for innovation in engineering for the development of South Antarctica to have a research center where scientists were allowed to live during the year.
