A sad update: A tribute to my mother

I am sharing a post of my mother who I recently lost to her battle with cancer. She passed in July 2020 at 68 years old, just 3 months shy of her next birthday. She was born on the 24th, she passed on the 24th, and she passed in the 24th minute of the hour of her time of death. If that is not the Creator at work, I do not know what is. That gives me strength to know she is in the heavens in the highest of the seven levels she can attain. May she rest eternally in peace. Ameen.

She was prayed for in 4 nations around the world and remembered by 4-5 generations of her parents' relatives. She was a special lady and will be missed as a daughter, niece, aunt, sister, wife, mother and all of her other titles she was known by. With so many generations, there were simply too many.

Here is a photo of her at my wedding with me and the groom that she was blessed to attend.

A tribute to my mother

Designs I marketed and advertised throughout the world.

Designs I marketed and advertised shown by example here for the different styles in South Asian and Asian fashion with the first time in the world designs mentioned as Farasha inspired by Kaftan (Caftan), Sharara inspired by Gharara, Lengha-Sari inspired by both Lenghas and Saris, Western white bridal dresses worn with and without a head scarf in silk or satin, more South Asian dresses with head scarves, Bridal Red as floor length gowns, multi-colored Ghararas, high-low long Kameez (shirt) that were high in the front of the dress and long in the back offered with a short train (worn in the photo with fitted leggings), a maxi length gown beaded with South Asian beading, and a high-low Kameez (shirt) worn with a long floor-length skirt.

There were many designs made with use of fabric for the first time done for different clothing than traditionally done in world history, different beading, and seasonal clothing not offered before in those regions of the world. Clothes were exported to nations where South Asians lived to sell in boutique stores and international delivery to customer's homes was offered on a wide scale for the first time in the world.

The Farasha is worn outside of South Asia as a loose-fitting, stylish, and comfortable attire for women.

All descriptions are accurately given for photos below.

All photos are stock images seen on Google. Photos with a logo or copyright are seen visible on the photo.

Here on this blog Rhia will be showing a post of photos for Style and Design (Fashion Design).

As already mentioned, the blog has updated from professional photography, event photography, and studio photography. Travel photos will be on the blog.

South Asian Design and a red bridal dress from Vera Wang. This photo was from the 2013 bridal collection.

I love the use of red for bridal in Western dresses for those who want this color and need it for requirements of cultural tradition.

Western dresses have been white, ivory white, blush pink, and now red, while modern brides have selected the option for modern silhouettes in bridal white, black, and black & white gowns. I must say, I still like floor and ankle length dresses for bridal attire.

As a huge fan of South Asian Desi bridal design, I love love love love beading, sequins, rhinestones, and all things sparkly. Golden or silver embroidery or both hold my gaze to catch my attention. Glitter sparkles too. Many other techniques for fabrics in dress design are factory stitching, hand machine stitching, and hand beading that have been done for centuries before the 1900's that brought with it innovation with industrialization to create dresses faster than ever before. A bride did not have to wait several months for her dress design to be completely finished and dispatched for shipping to her home while she could also choose to pick up her dress.

The end of the 1990's saw the turn of a century with the arrival of the 21st century of the second millennium. Those last ten years, I used the early 1990's to learn about business, the mid-1990's to prepare for business experience by handling several international marketing projects for dress design in South Asia, beading design and trade with Europe and South Asia, and the managing of projects to support the economies in South Asia with most of the work done with business owners in Delhi, India previously referred to as Hindustan as late as 1948. It was 1994-1996 and it was a time I will never forget when Style history was made in Fashion Design and an entire economy prospered for the revenue earned for Bridal Dress design with South Asian clothing, fashion jewelry, accessories, shoes, and bridal purses.

The remainder of the 1990's, I did more marketing and advertising projects with hair and bridal makeup with brands for hair products, hair appliances, and cosmetic products. The experience made me famous with celebrities, brand marketing, and designer labels.

Later, I added to my business experience projects for entrepreneurs that owned their own businesses, non-profit business experiences, and influence on economies with trade understanding Economic Policies in North America, Europe, Latin America, the South Asian region, and Australia and New Zealand. Later, I learned about trade and businesses in African nations.

Note:
I worked on marketing and advertising projects while I continued work for scientific inventions and modifications for innovation in engineering for the development of South Antarctica to have a research center where scientists were allowed to live during the year.

Inspiration

Inspiration 2019.

I worked long ago in the 1990's just one year short of 30 years ago (29 years ago), to follow a career in my life to become a business woman. I have become and remain influential, famous, and wealthy. Earning my first project income before 18 years old, I became experienced with marketing, advertising, and project management before finishing high school, college, and earning a dual-MBA in Management and International Business to move on the same year to post-graduate studies at a university for a Doctorate in Business Administration in Marketing and Global Supply Chain (Management). I finished at 31 years old.

In life, I have earned much money before I turned 18 years old and again before I turned 20 years old. There were twelve years I set goals for my lifetime achievements between 18 and 30 years old and I earned even more but I still feel personally I worked more in middle school and high school and studied more in college and graduate school to "make it" in life by becoming successful all by 30 years old. I worked in restaurants in college and shopping malls. I worked as a photographer in graduate school and photographed in shopping malls.

Humorously, I still wish I had done it all by 25 years old or 29 years old for all educational college and university degrees and work during that time earning the education!

I found my passion as a business woman with marketing and advertising a long time ago. I created millions of jobs in the USA influencing unemployment, worked on trade with other nations, influenced the economy, got to shorten the time of the recession, and met with hundreds of thousands of American people the goal in one decade to earn billion dollar revenues in only seven years beating the goal by three years between 2000 A.D. to 2007 A.D. for 2010 ending the first decade of the 21st century of the second millennium popularly referred to as the new millennium.

It is 2019. Preparations are under way for 2020 and three decades will pass by in the blink of an eye just as the Creator of the Universe (God) intended and the centennial celebrations will be here in 2050 A.D. It will be half way to a century for 50 years and still for me, I will be 70 years old.

I pray and more than that I work, to show my efforts not only here in the USA in the Western Hemisphere, but also to God (Allah) so that He sincerely see what I have done to benefit American society and people throughout the world in the hundreds of millions of a population that has grown to billions on all seven continents, five oceans, two North and South Antarctica(s), 10 planets, more than one galaxy, and one entire universe where He and His angels keep record of all that every human being does and I have far exceeded even my own expectations knowing that He made me famous and all that I have is because of Him. He knows best. It is all as He decides (with His decision for our fates and destinies). Ameen. (Amen).

World Travels: Costa Rica

By far one of the most beautiful countries I have ever been to, Costa Rica in Latin America located in Central America between North America and South America has a lot to offer. There are literally many different climates all in one country to experience; beaches, the city, forests, tropical environments, wildlife, animal sanctuaries, and more. Driving distance is about 1 to 3 hours to different regions. I would say many places can be visited in just one week. The guidebooks are right on this one! This is a must see country.

Photos are of me at a beach where I joined a group tour to ride horseback up a nearby mountain with aerial views of the beach and to go see old ruins mentioned in a guidebook of a place that used to host many functions and parties many years ago while in use. It has many terraces that have been bleached white by the sun. I did so much in Costa Rica that all of the photos cannot be shown in one post!

New outlook for this blog

This post is to announce that Digital Photos by Rhia will continue with a new focus on travel & photography for blogging and it's websites plus social media content. The old content will not be deleted. This journey in life will just add to the photos that are already online. All social media linked sites will remain.

Digital Photos by Rhia will no longer offer portrait photography for weddings and events, but instead focus on photos of travel around the world, blogging an experience in each country, and travel planning and tips.

So as I have already traveled to 15% of the world, 14 countries, one US territory, countless cities, and three continents and part of Latin America with layovers in many other countries I never left the airport in, plus one country I was born in that I have never been back to, here is my first travel photo!

London Eye in London, England, UK.

And here is to creating a life with a travel lifestyle doing what I love!

Saying farewell to photography

I am saying farewell to Digital Photos by Rhia after over 3,000 customers as a photographer at concerts, for musicians, wedding, bridal and engagement, couples, maternity, families, pets, and portrait photography in the studio. After 12 years since 2004, as this 2016 ends, I am closing my business for customers. I photographed at customers' homes and places of worship often choosing other locations for photography as the locations were special to them as couples and families. During my graduate school years, I worked as a photographer when I was not working on marketing and advertising projects and grants in the USA.

I photographed at several studios that have since gone bankrupt as my photography skills continued to appeal to customers over the more than a decade that I stayed in business. I have seen many of the same customers return to the studios when new companies opened businesses again at locations throughout the DMV (DC, MD, and VA) that closed. They returned with their families and they continued to come to the studios time and again for photos of their children as they grew, their families, and annually especially for the winter holiday season and family occasions that were once-in-a-lifetime. Often, three to four generations of families came to the studio and they were able to get great photos that they could have forever digitally and with prints. They chose frames and canvas too. They have these amazing photos of their family to give to the next generation in their homes.

I am happy and proud that they liked the photos so much that they often returned to the companies I worked for asking for my photography, liked my studio management, and liked my photos when I was enjoying life by working part-time as a studio photographer. When I went to their homes for their weddings and occasions, they accepted me to photograph their families and their closest moments as they took a step in their life they had not taken before.

While I am saddened that I am ending my years as a professional photographer, I am also excited for the next steps I am taking as I get more travel photos traveling the world and add to my experience as an influential business woman born famous and famous for my career with influence on national economies throughout the world in different nations with trade and Style and Design for clothing in North America, Europe, and the South Asian region that exports clothes to all regions of the world where South Asians live with their families to wear for their traditional cultural attire.

Note: As a designer and marketer I will be moving on to the next part of my life. South Asian ethnic attire is required in many families for religion.
